SCALE/TRITON Plug-in
The SCALE/TRITON plug-in provides support for the SCALE/TRITON control module for steady-state (T-NEWT) and time-dependent depletion (T-DEPL) lattice physics analyses. TRITON (Transport Rigor Implemented with Time-dependent Operation for Neutronic depletion) is a control module that is part of the SCALE (Standardized Computer Analyses for Licensing Evaluation) code system.
The plug-in includes an extensive primer which was derived from NUREG/CR7041, SCALE/TRITON Primer, developed by B. J. Ade at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. The original primer utilized the GeeWiz graphical user interface provided with SCALE. This modified version of the primer utilizes the Symbolic Nuclear Analysis Package (SNAP) as the graphical user interface. The primer will be located in the Samples/SCALE/TRITON_Primer directory of your SNAP installation.
